Vivid Street
Designing a Skopje street using asphalt art and transforming it into an attractive pedestrian-oriented urban space.

A project of national cultural interest in the field of visual arts, architecture, and design for 2020, supported by the Ministry of Culture.
The “Vivid Street” project is a visual arts, architecture, and design initiative. The project involved designing a Skopje street using asphalt art and transforming it into an attractive pedestrian-oriented urban space.
The intervention aimed to encourage positive values such as social interaction among citizens, greater awareness of public space, reduced motor traffic, increased walking, and reduced noise and air pollution.
Given the global pandemic at the time, the street design also aimed to encourage social distancing while walking and spending time outdoors.
